Vice President, AI Vulnerability Operations

About the role

The Vice President, AI Vulnerability Operations will lead Mastercard’s AI‑Powered Vulnerability Command Center. This senior leadership position is responsible for defining strategy, operating model, governance and global execution of continuous AI‑driven vulnerability detection and response.

Key responsibilities

• Set enterprise strategy and success metrics for AI Vulnerability Operations and the 24/7 Command Center.
• Design and implement the end‑to‑end workflow for AI‑discovered vulnerabilities, from detection through validation, triage, risk prioritisation, remediation and closure.
• Establish organisational structures, decision rights, escalation paths and service‑level targets to operate at scale.
• Prioritise coverage of critical services, external assets and high‑risk applications across development and runtime environments.
• Coordinate with engineering, infrastructure, application security, risk and business teams to ensure accountable remediation.
• Provide senior leadership with clear visibility into exposure, remediation progress and risk reduction.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale security or vulnerability management programs, preferably with AI or machine‑learning components.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive enterprise‑wide initiatives.
• Strong understanding of technology risk, security operations and incident response.
• Excellent strategic thinking and operational discipline.
