Vendor Development Representative

About the role

Join BILL’s Supplier Network team to help SMBs transition from legacy payment methods to modern digital payments. You will own a quota to convert suppliers to virtual card payments, ensuring smooth, friction‑free transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls and emails to validate payment acceptance, capture setup details, and confirm preferences.
• Educate suppliers on the benefits of virtual cards and guide them through the migration from checks and ACH.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records for every interaction to enable downstream payment execution.
• Meet monthly activity and conversion targets, including call volume, email follow‑up, and total payment volume settled.
• Collaborate with operations, onboarding, retention, and product support teams to ensure seamless handoffs.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of outbound sales, vendor outreach, inside sales, or payment operations experience in a B2B environment.
• Proven ability to meet volume and quality metrics such as call counts, conversion rates, and documentation accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining financial concepts to non‑technical contacts.
• Comfort navigating multiple tools simultaneously, including dialer platforms and internal workflow systems.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM for data entry, record hygiene, and activity logging.
