VDC 4D Coordinator

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to create, manage, and optimize 4D construction models that combine schedule data with 3D BIM models. The role supports project planning, visualization, and execution across the United States, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate sequencing and risk identification.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models for construction projects, integrating schedule data with 3D models.
• Collaborate with project teams to align model sequencing with project timelines.
• Analyze construction schedules against 4D simulations to identify risks and opportunities.
• Provide visualizations and presentations for stakeholders to track progress.
• Support BIM/VDC workflows and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to 4D modeling and data integration.
• Train and mentor team members on 4D modeling processes and tools.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in BIM/VDC with a focus on 4D modeling and construction sequencing.
• Strong understanding of construction schedules (Primavera P6) and their integration with models.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Synchro, Navisworks, and Revit.
• Experience with Primavera P6 schedule integration.
• Knowledge of Revit parameter management and encoding.
