About the role

We are a nationally recognized construction firm seeking a permanent Construction Estimator to join our growing team. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for a wide range of projects, including healthcare, education, commercial, government, and disaster‑relief construction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and schedule.
• Review and validate estimates for accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize OST estimating software to generate competitive bids.
• Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Conduct risk analyses and propose cost‑effective solutions.
• Stay current on industry trends and estimating techniques.
• Report project status, risks, and potential cost overruns to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction estimating experience across healthcare, higher education, school, commercial, government, and disaster construction sectors.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OST estimating software.
