Vascular Surgeon – Attending Position

About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an attending Vascular Surgeon to join its established practice, taking over from a retiring senior surgeon. The role spans clinic, hospital, operating room, and interventional lab privileges across the Scranton, Wilkes‑Barre, and East Stroudsburg region, with additional teaching opportunities at Lehigh Valley teaching hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform arterial and venous surgeries, including complex aortic procedures and limb‑salvage operations.
• Provide interventional lab services and manage comprehensive venous disease care.
• Teach and mentor medical students, general surgery residents, and integrated vascular residents.
• Engage in clinical research, academic scholarship, and participation in regional and national surgical societies.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery, trained via an integrated vascular residency or fellowship.
• Valid Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Interest and ability in all aspects of arterial and venous surgery.
