UX/Front-End Developer

About the role

Sweetwater, the nation’s leading retailer of pro audio gear and musical equipment, is expanding its e‑commerce team. The UX/Front‑End Developer will create user‑centered web experiences that reach millions of visitors on Sweetwater.com and related projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and designers to build a modern, customer‑centric e‑commerce platform.
• Develop and maintain web solutions using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Ensure visual consistency with brand guidelines and contribute to the internal design system.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve existing issues.
• Participate in code reviews, stand‑ups, and agile ceremonies.
• Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests.
• Create interactive prototypes with Figma and other prototyping tools.
• Analyze user flows to improve site usability and accessibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional front‑end and full‑stack development experience.
• 3+ years of UX experience with a data‑driven approach.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, Sass, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.js, Vue.js, or React.js.
• PHP, Laravel framework, MySQL.
• Design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Accessibility best practices and A/B testing platforms.
