Summer 2027 Data Engineering Internship

About the role

Stryker is offering a Summer 2027 Data Engineering internship in Indiana, with onsite work flexibility. Interns contribute to projects that turn data into insights that drive business decisions and improve efficiency, working alongside mentors and in an innovative, collaborative team. The internship targets students in fields such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics and Supply Chain.

Key responsibilities

• Business Analytics: support sales reporting, data governance, commercial analytics and technical support, including Power BI dashboards, data forensics and AI solutions with MS CoPilot and other LLM/ML tools
• Data Intelligence: build dashboards and visualizations of internal datasets
• Information Technology: partner with IT teams to deliver quality data and innovative tools
• Document complex processes and present them clearly

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, remaining enrolled after the internship
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, verified at hire
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Understanding of ETL frameworks and familiarity with Power BI reporting solutions
• Familiarity with Cursor, Microsoft CoPilot, prompt engineering and vibe-coding tools

What we offer

• Pay of $20 minimum to $35 maximum per hour
