gravityglobal · US (Remote)
Job description
About the role
Gravity Global, a marketing consultancy with offices across the US, Europe and APAC, is looking for an experienced UX Designer with digital agency experience leading website projects from research and discovery through to design hand-off. The role turns business, audience and performance requirements into clear experience strategies and practical design direction, and does not include any visual design.
Key responsibilities
- Lead client-facing discovery and UX strategy engagements, including stakeholder interviews, requirements gathering, audience and journey analysis, heuristic reviews, competitive analysis and experience audits.
- Translate business goals, user needs, content requirements, analytics, SEO considerations and technical constraints into UX recommendations, and define information architecture, wireframes, prototypes and experience principles.
- Provide conversion rate optimization recommendations, outline variant hypotheses, run A/B tests and report on results.
- Own UX workstreams from discovery through handoff, act as the UX point of contact for clients, and review work at key stages for quality, accessibility and usability.
- Support handoff to visual design, development, QA and launch by documenting requirements, flows and interactions.
- Collaborate with project management, strategy, content, SEO, visual design, development, analytics and account leadership, and contribute to reusable frameworks, templates and documentation.
- Stay current with UX practices, accessibility standards, AI-enabled experiences and analytics, and use AI and automation to strengthen the team's capacity.
Required profile
- Typically 5+ years of professional UX experience, especially for websites in complex B2B spaces.
- Demonstrated experience leading client-facing UX strategy and delivery, and managing client relationships and senior-level decisions.
- Experience in an agency, consultancy or product organization with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Experience collaborating with distributed, cross-functional and international teams.
Required skills
- UX strategy, user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design and responsive digital experience principles.
- Conversion rate optimization and A/B testing.
- Figma and related tools for wireframing, prototyping and documentation.
- Working knowledge of accessibility, usability testing, analytics-informed UX, SEO, content strategy, design systems and web development considerations.
- Desirable: experience with usability testing, accessibility audits, CRO, personalization, website analytics, enterprise CMS platforms (Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, HubSpot), design systems and AI tools.
