Utility Associate – 3rd Shift

About the role
We are looking for a reliable Utility Associate to work the 3rd shift (Monday‑Friday, 9:00 pm‑5:30 am). You will step in for regular workers, keep production lines running, and help train new teammates.
Key responsibilities
- Fill in and perform all tasks in the assigned area when the regular worker is absent.
- Distribute, swap, and collect knives before, during, and after the shift.
- Set up production lines with stands and ice.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment around the assigned line.
- Train and cross‑train incoming or current workers on new skills as needed.
- Follow all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and applicable laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to perform one or more functions of the deboning process.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to work unsupervised.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours.
- Strong work ethic, honesty and moral character.
