USMC Aviation Senior Logistics Analyst

About the role

CACI is hiring a Senior Logistics Analyst for its Cherry Point, NC location, working on Marine Corps aviation support. The role supports the Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) and requires a Secret clearance to start. It is a regular, full-time position with up to 10% local travel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide aviation maintenance and logistics support to the Wing Maintenance Class Desk by monitoring maintenance requirements, researching discrepancies and helping with issues affecting aircraft readiness and operational availability.
• Analyze maintenance, supply and readiness data in Marine Corps aviation systems to spot discrepancies, outstanding requirements and trends needing further research or coordination.
• Coordinate with Wing staff, MAGs, MALS and supported squadrons to track maintenance actions, get status updates, help resolve issues and share accurate, timely information.
• Prepare and maintain readiness reports, trackers, briefings and supporting documentation for Wing leadership, keeping information accurate, current and consistent with Marine Corps aviation maintenance policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Current SECRET security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or a related business discipline, or eight years of experience in Navy/Marine Corps aviation support, R-Supply, NALCOMIS, Inventory Management and Requisition Management as a substitute for the degree.
• At least eight years of experience in Navy/Marine Corps aviation support, R-Supply, NALCOMIS and OOMA.
