US Healthcare Recruiter - Psychiatry & Behavioral Health

About the role

Citadel Healthcare Management provides healthcare management services for practices across North America. It is looking for a motivated, articulate and proactive Healthcare Recruiter to recruit US-based psychiatrists and therapists. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a professional telephone manner and the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals; a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) is preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Source and recruit psychiatrists, licensed therapists, clinical psychologists and other behavioral health professionals across the United States.
• Identify candidates through Indeed, professional networks, job boards, referrals and other channels.
• Run initial screening calls to check qualifications, experience, licensure, availability and interest.
• Communicate professionally with US healthcare providers and build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Coordinate interviews, follow-ups and ongoing contact with candidates.
• Work with the US team on hiring requirements and priorities, and keep accurate records in Google Sheets and similar tools.
• Support offer coordination, onboarding follow-ups and credentialing, and keep candidate data confidential.

Required profile

• Previous experience in healthcare recruitment, especially US-based provider recruitment (plus).
• Excellent verbal and written English, strong interpersonal skills and confidence in phone conversations.
• Proactive, persistent and target-oriented, able to work independently during US business hours.
• Reliable internet and a suitable work environment.
• Preferred: MBBS or equivalent medical degree, familiarity with the US healthcare system and provider licensing, and experience with Indeed, ATS or recruitment platforms.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Indeed, Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and digital communication tools.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-up ability.
