U.S. Controller

About the role

Concept2 is looking for a U.S. Controller to lead the accounting function for its U.S. entity in Morrisville, VT. You will oversee month‑end close, internal controls, and reporting packages for senior leadership while collaborating with global finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for operational accounting, treasury, intercompany, and tax reporting.
• Ensure timely month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Coach team members on the application of U.S. GAAP.
• Coordinate deliverables for annual financial statements and tax returns with external accountants.
• Lead the review and improvement of the internal control framework.
• Develop documentation to standardize departmental duties.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with global finance and cross‑functional teams on accounting and reporting initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required); Master’s degree and CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Proven ability to develop and mentor team members.
