Urgent Care Physician (Board-Certified)

About the role

We are seeking a board‑certified physician to join our Urgent Care team. You will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care to individuals of all ages, both in‑person and via virtual visits, while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary support staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform age‑appropriate histories, virtual examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Document patient encounters promptly and accurately.
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests as needed.
• Provide acute care, chronic disease management, and mental‑health support for pediatric and adult patients.
• Consult or refer to specialists when appropriate.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of medical research and clinical guidelines.
• Offer administrative support, including laboratory result review and cross‑coverage.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required profile

• Completion of a 3‑year Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency.
• 3+ years post‑residency experience in a high‑volume Urgent Care or Primary Care setting.
• Active ABMS or AOA board certification in Family Medicine or dual board certification in Internal Medicine + Pediatrics.
• Unrestricted state medical license (must reside in an IMLC state).
• Ability to care for patients from newborn to adult.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical judgment skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Athena EMR system.
• Experience delivering telemedicine/video‑based virtual visits.
