Upper School Math Teacher

About the role

The Upper School Mathematics Teacher will join a collaborative department to deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to high school students. This full‑time position includes classroom teaching, student advising, and participation in school‑wide programs.

Key responsibilities

• Teach high school mathematics classes (approximately 15 hours per week).
• Serve as a Student Advisor, supporting academic and personal growth.
• Provide differentiation and intervention as needed.
• Monitor each student’s progress toward mastery of course standards.
• Deliver consistent, high‑quality feedback aligned with standards.
• Design student‑centered, developmentally appropriate lessons.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming learning environment.
• Engage in extracurricular activities, clubs, and school‑wide programming.
• Pursue ongoing professional development.
• Communicate regularly with parents and students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (required); Master’s degree preferred.
• Previous teaching experience required.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a mission‑driven school community.
