About the role

The Union Helper supports the physical upkeep of the community, ensuring grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal meet Greystar standards. This onsite position involves daily cleaning, make‑ready assistance and safety monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Clean leasing office, clubhouse, restrooms, model units, amenities and vacant apartments daily or as directed.
• Refresh vacant and show units throughout the day to keep them market‑ready.
• Assist the Head Janitor, Community Manager and Assistant Manager with make‑ready tasks.
• Inspect common areas to remove litter, debris and pet droppings, keeping amenities tidy.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments, transport it to dumpsters or storage, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and support the make‑ready specialist.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions and address maintenance complaints.
• Follow Greystar safety policies, attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the property.
• Attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Strong communication skills to interact respectfully with residents and team members.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and procedures.
• Understanding of safety and hazard reporting protocols.
