Unarmed Security Officer - Overnight Shifts

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol driver for a food and beverage manufacturing facility in Stuarts Draft, Virginia. The officer conducts routine patrols, keeps a visible presence to deter incidents and supports a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The position is paid $18.93 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, document observations and communicate concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Carry out regular and random patrols of food and beverage production, warehouse, office, parking and perimeter areas to spot unusual activity, hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, keep accurate entry records and control access to restricted areas.
• Report equipment, door, lighting and perimeter issues that could affect operations or security protocols.

Required profile

• Valid driver's license in line with Allied Universal driver policy (required for driving positions).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Preferred: CPR and First Aid certification, customer service experience and ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Applicants undergo a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law; licensing may be required before employment.
