UAS Technical Field Representative

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a seasoned aerospace or uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) expert to act as the primary technical interface for the Flexrotor UAS platform. The role blends remote technical support with hands‑on global field integration, requiring extensive travel and close collaboration with customers and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and serve as the main hotline contact for Flexrotor customers, handling troubleshooting, documentation, and repair requests.
• Analyze field issues to recommend product improvements, component redesigns, and maintenance procedure updates to Engineering and Quality teams.
• Deploy to customer sites for system integration, acceptance testing, training, and on‑site troubleshooting, while gathering operational data for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Associate degree in aircraft engineering, business administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience (minimum 2 years).
• Five or more years of experience in aerospace, UAS, software or hardware industries, with proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• U.S. Person status under ITAR, willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally, and ability to meet physical requirements for field work.
