TS/SCI Cloud & Systems Engineer

About the role

CACI is hiring a TS/SCI cleared Cloud & Systems Engineer to join its Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team for the Air Force DCGS program, supporting an Air Force customer at Warner Robins AFB, GA or Langley AFB, VA. The role helps shape system transitions, including cloud modernization, by designing, architecting and engineering secure, resilient and highly available cloud solutions. About 10% travel across the continental US is required.

Key responsibilities

• Support enterprise cloud and hybrid-cloud strategies aligned with mission, cost, scalability and security goals.
• Evaluate approaches for migration, modernization and system integration through technical exchanges.
• Design and engineer secure IaaS and PaaS environments, primarily on AWS.
• Apply shift-left security principles with cybersecurity and DevSecOps teams.
• Assess legacy and modern applications for cloud readiness and give deployment guidance.
• Design automated, resilient solutions for storing and archiving audit and security data in line with NIST standards.
• Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams and system designs.
• Communicate with cross-functional engineering teams and government stakeholders.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• BS degree in a STEM-related field, or 5 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
• On-site at Warner Robins AFB, GA or Langley AFB, VA.

Required skills

• One or more cloud vendor certifications or CompTIA Cloud+
• Agile project management experience
• DevSecOps experience
• Preferred: 3+ years with cloud service providers (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, IaC and CaC, Python, JSON and YAML
