EMIS Java Developer – Agile Web Application Support

About the role

The EMIS Java Developer will maintain and enhance a legacy web‑based Enterprise Management Information System used by roughly 5,000 users. Working on‑site at Robins Air Force Base, you will support eight integrated applications, ensure data integrity across multiple databases, and deliver new functionality in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, resolve, and document complex customer issues through support channels.
• Develop and modify applications to meet evolving customer needs.
• Gather, analyze, and document change requests and requirements.
• Participate in Agile sprints, including planning, development, and review.
• Conduct software vulnerability scans using approved tools.
• Follow configuration control and documentation procedures.
• Perform application, regression, and integration testing.
• Execute any related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional programming and development experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a high‑pace, sometimes stressful environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Current Secret clearance and CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) certification.
