Trust Compliance Officer

About the role

Osaic is hiring a Trust Compliance Officer for its Premier Trust team in Henderson, Nevada. The Compliance Officer oversees compliance and risk management processes so the company follows the law, regulations and internal policies, working closely with the Director of Operations to lead the compliance team in assessing and mitigating financial and legal risks. The position is full time, five days a week in the office, with a salary of $90,000-$105,000 per year plus an annual bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain policies and procedures
• Assess, maintain and develop compliance audit processes and internal controls
• Act as point of contact for internal and external auditors
• Research regulatory changes and communicate important industry updates
• Conduct periodic training with staff on regulatory requirements
• Monitor potential legal matters
• Perform personnel actions such as performance assessments, disciplinary actions, workload delegation and approval of work schedules
• Comply with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), OFAC anti-money laundering (AML) and other compliance policies
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all records and data

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred; a high school diploma (or equivalent) with significant practical experience may be considered instead
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience in financial services
• 5+ years of experience specifically in trusts or in a compliance role (preferred)
