Trust Centralized Services Specialist

About the role

Associated Bank is looking for a Trust Centralized Services Specialist to handle a wide range of administrative transactions on customer accounts so that trust administration can deliver relationship management services. The role covers account openings, cash and asset transfers, account maintenance, check printing, client letter generation, account closings and the production of key management reports.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure incoming forms and documentation are complete and accurate, and track and report progress on open items or exceptions
• Open new client accounts after receiving account information from Trust Administration, checking compliance with company policies and legal and regulatory requirements
• Process securities receipts and deliveries, transfer or re-register securities, and facilitate processing of sale proceeds
• Update cost basis and carry value adjustments and asset restriction requests
• Monitor the Client Services shared mailbox, generate and distribute tracking reports, and close accounts when they are transferring or terminating
• Process templated customer communications such as retention, address change, welcome and Trust Code letters
• Initiate on-demand check printing, monitor authorizations, make MotoCros entries and distribute checks
• Handle daily ILIT administration, including receiving and paying premiums and processing related letters
• Coordinate with business line, compliance and audit areas and ensure work follows policy

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-3 years of financial industry experience; trust or brokerage experience preferred
• Ability to represent yourself and your own experience during the hiring process, as the bank conducts a background check on all new hires
