Trust Administrator II

About the role

Osaic is seeking a Trust Administrator II for its Premier Trust unit, located in Henderson, Nevada. The Trust Administrator handles the basic administration of assigned accounts, represents the company in dealings with customers, outside professionals and beneficiaries, and has discretionary distribution approval based on Board-approved levels. The role ensures compliance with trust policies, procedures and state regulations, and may include supervising one employee.

Key responsibilities

• Administer accounts in line with the governing instrument and the needs of principals, beneficiaries and remaindermen
• Contact interested parties and agencies and advise other officers on proposed plans
• Assist in analyzing fund needs and coordinate the preparation of federal and state trust tax returns
• Establish and maintain client data, initiate and fund new accounts, and prepare initial and annual trust reviews
• Answer phones and emails, direct callers, and handle routine administrative tasks
• Ensure compliance with company policies, state laws and regulations, including BSA, OFAC AML and USA PATRIOT ACT requirements, and report suspicious activity to the BSA/Compliance Officer
• Take part in annual BSA/AML/OFAC and compliance training and complete discretionary requests to the TAC committee

Required profile

• Minimum two years of trust administration experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred; significant practical experience in trust administration within financial services is considered
• Intermediate knowledge of state trust compliance regulations, trust policies and procedures, and trust products and services
• Current driver's license and a vehicle with insurance if driving is required

Required skills

• Intermediate computer skills: word processing and spreadsheets such as Microsoft Word and Excel
• Typing speed sufficient for the position's production needs
• Intermediate math skills, including ratios, percentages and interpretation of bar graphs
• Good oral, written and interpersonal communication, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
