Treasury Management Officer

About the role

Associated Bank is seeking a relationship-driven Treasury Management Officer to help commercial and institutional clients optimise their cash management strategies. The role involves partnering with business leaders, delivering tailored treasury solutions and driving growth across the bank's markets, while leading complex client relationships, influencing strategic initiatives and mentoring developing talent.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex commercial and institutional treasury relationships as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Drive new business through consultative sales and strategic territory planning.
• Develop customised treasury and cash management solutions aligned with client needs and business goals.
• Prepare and present proposals, pricing structures and treasury service recommendations.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and internal teams to strengthen client retention and expand services.
• Monitor portfolio performance, including profitability, service quality, compliance and product utilisation.
• Mentor junior treasury colleagues and build community and business relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of treasury management, relationship management, treasury product, implementation or sales experience.
• 6+ years of experience in consultative selling and relationship management.
• 6+ years of experience with treasury systems, treasury products and industry regulations.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive, if applicable.
• Preferred: Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certifications.
