Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist – $2,972/week

About the role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is looking for a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a hospital in Palestine, Texas for a 13‑week assignment. The role involves preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing imaging studies, and supporting cardiology stress testing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications per physician orders.
• Receive, record, and perform daily/weekly quality‑control dose testing of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Process and enhance digital images using Xeleris and NEMIS software, and provide data for diagnostic interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality, calibrate instrumentation, and post‑process studies for radiologist or cardiologist review.
• Perform nuclear medicine and treadmill stress tests under the direction of a cardiologist.
• Maintain a clean work environment after each patient.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a hospital setting.
• ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT (must be attached).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must be attached).
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am‑3:30 pm, no weekends or on‑call.

Required skills

• Radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration.
• Quality‑control dose testing.
• Proficiency with GEHC NM Infinia equipment.
• Experience using Xeleris 5.0 and NEMIS imaging software.
• Ability to perform Stress Echo and treadmill stress testing.
• Competent use of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
