About the role

Aya Healthcare is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 14‑week travel assignment in Palestine, TX. This night‑shift position works 5 days per week on an 8‑hour schedule (19:00‑15:30). The role supports an acute‑care hospital’s nuclear medicine department.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Document all procedures and patient information using the MedHost charting system.
• Collaborate with radiology and cardiology teams to coordinate patient care.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Current state licensure and certification appropriate for nuclear medicine.
• Willingness to work night shifts and a 14‑week contract.
• Experience in an acute‑care hospital setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Familiarity with the MedHost electronic charting system.
• Basic knowledge of radiology and cardiology imaging concepts.
• Ability to follow radiation safety guidelines.
