Trauma Sales Representative - Las Vegas

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Trauma Sales Representative in Las Vegas. The representative sells Stryker Trauma products to surgeons and other healthcare professionals, acts as a resident trauma expert and works in emergency and operating room settings. The position is field-based, with a travel percentage of 10%.

Key responsibilities

• Sell Stryker Trauma products to surgeons and healthcare professionals, organizing materials and proposing solutions quickly during operating and emergency room consultations.
• Maintain and manage inventory of products so that the right product or tool is available to implement a solution.
• Provide advice and training on products and tools used to save lives, drawing on knowledge of both own products and competitor offerings.
• Attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of the two).
• 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in emergency and operating room environments.
• Willingness to travel 10% and to attend meetings outside normal hours.
• Adherence to compliance and ethical standards (AdvaMed), including confidentiality and reporting of non-compliance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of product promotion and sales techniques, including product demonstration and sales control systems.
• Organizational skills and knowledge of current office technologies such as MS Office and databases.
• Relationship-building with surgeons and hospitals in the area is beneficial.
