Trauma Sales Representative - Anchorage, AK

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Trauma Sales Representative in Anchorage, AK. The role is field-based and involves selling Stryker trauma products to surgeons and healthcare professionals, becoming the resident trauma expert for the area. It is a 100% commission position with eligibility for bonuses and benefits, and requires an on-call schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Sell Stryker trauma products to surgeons and healthcare professionals, providing advice and training on products and tools used to save lives
• Organize materials and sort possible solutions quickly during operating room and emergency room consultations
• Maintain and manage your product inventory and assist customers whenever needed
• Build credibility through knowledge of both your own products and competitors' offerings
• Attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination)
• 3+ years of sales experience preferred
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals in the area would be beneficial
• Comfortable in emergency and operating room environments
• Willingness to follow AdvaMed compliance principles, including confidentiality and ethical conduct

Required skills

• Product promotion and sales techniques, including marketing strategy, product demonstration and sales control systems
• Excellent organizational skills
• Use of current office technologies such as MS Office and databases

Travel percentage is 30%. Candidates who decline the on-call schedule will not be penalized in future opportunities.
