Seasonal Sales Associate - Dimond Center

About the role

Hot Topic is hiring a Seasonal Sales Associate for its store in the Dimond Center mall in Anchorage. The role suits people who love music and pop culture and wants to give customers the best possible experience, from product knowledge to stocking and merchandising.

Key responsibilities

• Create a great shopping experience that encourages customers to return, showing product knowledge and customer service skills
• Cover the sales floor and keep assigned areas up to visual standards
• Work the register, processing sales and driving add-on sales through options such as BOPIS and curbside pickup
• Assist with planogram changes, including store map, wall, fixture and merchandising mix
• Share fashion and music trend information with management and HQ partners
• Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of merchandise
• Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy
• Carry out any other activities assigned by the Store Leader

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a retail environment
• At least 16 years of age
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Able to navigate the store, merchandise products using approved equipment and pack and unpack boxes of merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds
