Transportation Supervisor (Distribution)

About the role

Martin Brower is hiring a Transportation Supervisor (Distribution) in Stockton, California. The position covers a 24/7 operation and requires flexibility across morning, swing and overnight shifts as well as weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily delivery operations, including planning and scheduling, driver schedules, route management and on-time deliveries.
• Foster employee engagement and a culture where staff feel valued and motivated.
• Monitor driver performance, analyze KPIs and address performance gaps to meet department targets.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA and other safety and health regulations through safety audits and driver protocol adherence.
• Adjust driver routes daily to balance schedules, customer demands, service hours and workload.
• Maintain positive internal and external customer relationships through regular communication.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Associate's degree with 3 to 4+ years of related experience and 0 to 1+ years of supervisory experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 5+ years of specific experience and 1 to 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• CDL Class A license or willingness to obtain it within a specified timeframe.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
