Transportation Planner

About the role

Schneider is looking for a Transportation Planner to match drivers and equipment with customer loads in the Green Bay market. The role works on a hybrid schedule, collaborating with operations, customer service, sales, and pricing teams to ensure timely and profitable freight delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage market data to make profit‑based load planning decisions.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to guarantee on‑time freight delivery.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet operational goals.
• Analyze shipping trends and identify improvement opportunities within the geographic market.
• Match available drivers and equipment to customer loads during the second shift (Friday‑Monday, 1:30 p.m.–11:30 p.m.).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• At least one year of transportation or truck dispatch experience (preferred).
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Problem‑solving aptitude.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
