Transitional Kindergarten Instructional Provider (Pool)

About the role

The Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Instructional Provider works within a pool of educators to deliver high‑quality TK instruction and supervision. This role reports to the Assistant Superintendent, K‑12 Teaching and Learning, or a designated designee.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and implement the Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program activities, ensuring alignment with district curriculum and instructional goals.
• Provide assigned classroom instruction for TK students, delivering age‑appropriate lessons in literacy, numeracy, and social development.
• Perform supervision of TK students throughout the school day, maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.

Required profile

• Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a copy of diploma or official transcripts attached.
• Possess experience working with children in a learning setting, as demonstrated on the applicant’s resume.
• Have completed college coursework in child or human development, or related classes required by regulations.
• Meet the district requirement of 48 college credit units or successfully pass the district proficiency test.
