About the role
This remote position supports the United States workforce, requiring the employee to reside near one of the company’s facilities in Moonachie, NJ; Dayton, OH; Arlington, TX; Phoenix, AZ; or Miami, FL. The Training & Development Manager leads the learning and development strategy, partnering with leaders to close skill gaps and drive continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a company‑wide Training & Development strategy aligned with business goals.
- Partner with department leaders to assess training needs, support succession planning, and close performance gaps.
- Design, develop and deliver instructor‑led, virtual and self‑paced programs for onboarding, leadership, compliance, operations and professional growth.
- Create and maintain learning assets such as presentations, SOPs, job aids, assessments and e‑learning content.
- Measure training effectiveness through feedback, assessments and operational metrics, and iterate for improvement.
- Lead onboarding enhancements to boost employee readiness, engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with HR, Operations, Safety and other stakeholders to ensure consistent training standards.
- Manage learning systems, training records and compliance documentation.
- Support organizational development and change‑management initiatives through communication and training delivery.
- Build scalable learning frameworks and standardized processes across multiple locations.
- Supervise and develop members of the Training & Development team where applicable.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Training, Organizational Development or Talent Development.
- Proven track record of leading L&D initiatives, including leadership and employee development programs.
- Experience in manufacturing, production, distribution or other fast‑paced operational environments (strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
