Training & Development Manager

About the role

This remote position supports the United States workforce while requiring proximity to one of our key facilities. The Training & Development Manager leads the company’s learning strategy, partnering with leaders to close skill gaps, build leadership pipelines, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Training & Development strategy aligned with business goals.
• Partner with department heads to assess training needs, design programs, and support succession planning.
• Create and deliver instructor‑led, virtual, and self‑paced courses covering onboarding, leadership, compliance, operations, and professional growth.
• Produce learning materials such as presentations, SOPs, job aids, assessments, and e‑learning content.
• Measure program effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and operational metrics to refine offerings.
• Enhance onboarding processes to boost readiness, engagement, and retention.
• Maintain learning systems, training records, and compliance documentation.
• Support change‑management initiatives through targeted communication and training.
• Supervise and develop any Training & Development team members as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Talent Development.
• Proven track record of leading leadership and employee development programs.
• Experience in fast‑paced manufacturing, production, or distribution environments (strongly preferred).

Required skills

• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
