Training and Development Specialist

About the role

The Training & Development Specialist will design, deliver, and support curriculum for enterprise logistics and asset management systems such as ALMIS and 1‑Log Portal. The role blends instructional expertise with engineering and logistics knowledge to ensure users across the United States are proficient and data‑accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update training materials, classroom courses, and e‑learning modules for logistics systems.
• Conduct classroom and field training sessions for geographically dispersed users.
• Analyze system data to verify accuracy and support operational readiness.
• Travel extensively to on‑site locations and provide remote support as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum five years experience with USCG aeronautical or naval engineering practices and procedures.
• Minimum five years experience working with aircraft, cutters, or boats.
• Minimum five years experience with ALMIS/EAL/DSS systems.
• At least two years of classroom instruction or training delivery.

Required skills

• ALMIS/EAL/DSS system expertise.

• Configuration management and process documentation.
