About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a Trailer Mechanic for its Seattle, WA Service Center. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trailers to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Key responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic procedures on trailers to identify issues.
- Conduct repairs and replace defective parts, components, or systems.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance (PM) and overall trailer upkeep.
- Execute safety inspections and prepare required FMCSA documentation.
Required profile
- Experience performing safety inspections and preparing FMCSA paperwork.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and execute repairs.
- Proven experience testing equipment to meet manufacturer specifications and regulations.
- Capability to lift 50 lb and work in various climate conditions.
- Must own personal tools and be dependable.
