Trailer Mechanic – Full-Time

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a full‑time Trailer Mechanic for its Seattle, WA service center. The role offers up to $38.85 hourly, a comprehensive benefits package and access to employee resorts after the initial 90‑day period.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures on trailers.
• Execute repair work and replace defective components.
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventive‑maintenance (PM) tasks on trailers.

Required profile

• Experience conducting safety inspections in compliance with FMCSA and other regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Proven experience repairing or replacing trailer parts and testing equipment for proper performance.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb and work in varying climate conditions.
• Own set of tools and dependable work ethic.

• Use of Cetaris Maintenance Work Order System.
