Trade Desk Representative, 24/7 Coverage

About the role

tastytrade is seeking a dedicated Trade Desk Representative to provide 24‑hour trading support and risk monitoring for its customers during US market overnight hours and weekends. This position serves as the primary point of contact for urgent issues on futures, options, index contracts, and other continuously‑traded products.

Key responsibilities

• Support trading of 24‑hour and weekend‑eligible instruments, including futures, futures options, index options, event contracts, and 24‑hour stock trading.
• Resolve trade disputes, execution errors, and order entry issues that arise during overnight and weekend sessions.
• Analyze customer positions, assess risk exposure, and conduct proactive risk‑related callouts.
• Assist customers in managing excessive risk, recommending position adjustments, hedging, or risk‑reduction strategies.
• Perform real‑time firm risk surveillance, monitoring for concentrated positions, unusual activity, or systemic concerns.
• Escalate critical risk situations to the Margin and Risk team with detailed analysis and recommendations.
• Track and report unusual trading activity, account movements, or potential fraudulent behavior detected during off‑hours.

Required profile

• FINRA Series 7, Series 63, and Series 3 certifications.
• Ability to work independently during overnight and weekend shifts.
• Strong problem‑solving skills under pressure and sound decision‑making in a fast‑paced environment.
• Deep understanding of futures, options, and related trading products.
