TLDP Rotational Program - IT Analyst Internship

About the role

Boston Scientific is offering a 7-month subsidized internship for an IT Analyst, starting in May 2027, with the possibility of extension up to 1 year. The internship is part of the TLDP rotational program, which may lead to a full-time position depending on performance, program requirements and business needs; participation does not guarantee future employment. The work mode is hybrid: three days per week at the Global Hub office in Costa Rica, one remote workday and one study day chosen as a free day.

Key responsibilities

• Join an IT team with a defined outcome and apply business analysis, UX, data analysis, data visualization, project management and product management skills to real business challenges.
• Complete a group project with fellow IT interns focused on solving a real problem for Boston Scientific employees.
• Contribute to work in Artificial Intelligence, Data and Digital Products that connects the company, patients and health care providers.
• Develop process automation solutions that streamline repetitive processes.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives such as product security controls repositories and workflow automation tools.
• Create reports and dashboards with business intelligence tools and data analytics.
• Map and analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and support improvements.
• Partner with functional teams such as Supply Chain, Finance, HR, R&D, Sales, Operations and Quality.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Analytics, Cybersecurity or a related field, with expected graduation no later than May 2028.
• Actively enrolled as a student throughout the internship.
• English proficiency of B2+ or higher; CV submitted in English.
• Preferred: technical problem-solving, clear verbal and written communication, initiative, respectful feedback, empathy for users, critical thinking and enjoyment of a multicultural environment.
