Therapist – Recovery Center (Full‑Time)

About the role

Join Indiana Treatment Centers in Mishawaka as a licensed Therapist delivering person‑centered, trauma‑informed care. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients recovering from substance use and mental health disorders, contributing directly to their safety and long‑term recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and risk screenings following DSM‑5 and state guidelines.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans aligned with ASAM criteria.
• Provide evidence‑based therapy (CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing) in individual, group, and family formats.
• Respond to crises according to facility policy, ensuring client safety.
• Document all services accurately and timely, meeting Medicaid, payer, and licensing standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and utilization reviews.
• Coordinate care with internal clinical, medical, and support staff and communicate with external partners as needed.

Required profile

• Current, active licensure as a behavioral health professional.
• Experience conducting assessments and delivering evidence‑based therapies.
• Strong understanding of trauma‑informed, recovery‑oriented care.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and documentation standards.
