Therapist – Interpersonal Violence Reduction Program

About the role

Join Mindoula Health’s Interpersonal Violence Reduction Program as a remote therapist delivering high‑quality teletherapy to adults with complex behavioral health needs. You will work within an integrated care team, providing evidence‑based interventions and coordinating care across medical and social services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group teletherapy using CBT, DBT skills, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma‑informed approaches.
• Conduct clinical risk stratification, administer validated assessments, and adjust treatment plans based on member acuity.
• Serve as the licensed clinical point of escalation for crisis management, safety planning, and real‑time risk assessments.
• Maintain detailed DAP documentation within 24 hours, supporting Medicaid quality standards.
• Engage members through video, secure messaging, and digital wellness content to sustain high‑frequency outreach.
• Collaborate with care team members, caregivers, and community organizations to address medical, behavioral, and health‑related social needs.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral health discipline.
• Current Nevada Department of Health independent behavioral health license (LCSW, CPC, or LMFT).
• At least two years of direct experience with adults in behavioral health, including severe mental illness and interpersonal violence.
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid practices and local community resources.

Required skills

• Proficiency in evidence‑based therapies: CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma‑informed care.
• Experience with clinical assessments (e.g., PHQ‑9, GAD‑7, M3) and risk stratification.
• Ability to document in DAP format and use electronic medical records.
• Strong crisis management and safety‑planning capabilities.
