Test Technician I

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Test Technician I in Redmond, Washington, working onsite Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm. The technician performs technical duties using standard practices in the area, with a working knowledge of scientific and/or laboratory techniques and of test and measurement equipment and practices. The role works under supervision following general direction.

Key responsibilities

• Work from predefined protocols, CAD drawings, electrical schematics, diagrams, work instructions or other specifications in line with established lab procedures.
• Document and record test data according to quality requirements and compare results against predetermined limits.
• Follow schedules to meet completion and delivery dates.
• Communicate problems, issues and test non-conformance findings professionally with multiple customers.
• Set up, operate and/or maintain test equipment and tools where applicable.
• Follow environmental and safety procedures for lab processes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of applicable technical experience.
• Preferred: certifications for basic skills such as soldering.
• Preferred: experience in a highly regulated environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with test and measurement equipment.
• Proficient computer skills, including office software applications.

Pay starts at $28.23 per hour, with a stated range of $28.23 to $38.74 per hour. There is no travel required.
