Test Equipment Deployment Technician

About the role

Moog is a performance‑driven company that values technical problem‑solving and teamwork. The Test Equipment Deployment Technician will work onsite in Buffalo, NY, supporting the Military Aircraft Group by deploying and maintaining test equipment for internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Support successful deployment of test equipment for use by customers worldwide.
• Assemble, modify and install test equipment using engineering drawings, schematics and blueprints.
• Utilize hydraulic flanging, flaring and bending equipment, as well as general hand tools.
• Maintain specification accuracy with torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, gauges and other measuring devices.
• Interface with Design and Deployment engineering during development phases.
• Follow Health & Safety practices, complete risk assessments and report new issues.
• Support continuous improvement of AG TE Deployment processes and tools.
• Use Microsoft Office tools for documentation and communication.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• At least 5 years of experience in a related technical field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hydraulic flanging, flaring and bending equipment.
• Experience using torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, gauges and other measuring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly/component engineering drawings, electrical/hydraulic line schematics, mechanical assembly drawings and other blueprints.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands‑on experience fabricating or modifying parts using mills or welders (a plus).
