Territory Sales Manager – Precision Cutting Tools (Northern Indiana & Northwest Ohio)

About the role

Heritage Cutter, a privately held US manufacturer of precision cutting tools, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to cover Northern Indiana and Northwest Ohio. The role combines technical field support with sales responsibilities to grow the business in the assigned region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage customer relationships within the territory.
• Increase sales and profit margin by developing and implementing sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate CRM data for all assigned accounts.
• Review lost opportunities and provide feedback on pricing, product, and service.
• Set and track sales goals, including new‑business targets.
• Coordinate internal resources such as Product Managers to support customers.
• Communicate market trends and product competitiveness to management.
• Submit monthly reports covering account updates, quotations, and distributor activities.

Required profile

• Highly motivated with a strong technical background in machining.
• Ability to develop value propositions and foster customer relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including business correspondence and presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to grow sales in a designated territory.
• Strong project‑management skills and willingness to travel.
• Independent work style with the ability to set daily priorities.
