Territory Manager – Shockwave Medical

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales of Shockwave Medical’s Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) portfolio in the Palo Alto area. The role focuses on building relationships with physicians and hospital staff, promoting innovative cardiovascular devices, and achieving revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Cold‑call, prospect, and develop new business within the assigned territory.
• Educate physicians and hospital personnel on Shockwave products through presentations, demonstrations, and in‑room case support.
• Attend catheter‑lab procedures, advise on product usage, and gather clinical feedback.
• Achieve sales quotas and report performance metrics, expenses, and product tracking.
• Collaborate with clinical, marketing, R&D, and field teams to identify and pursue selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of territory‑manager experience in hospital‑based life sciences, preferably cardiovascular.
• Proven sales success with catheter‑technology, endovascular, atherectomy, stent, or coronary products.
• Ability to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales plans.
• Strong time‑management, independent work capability, and willingness to travel within the territory.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 25 lb.
