Tenure‑Track Professor – Educational Leadership

About the role

Tarleton State University seeks an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor on a tenure‑track basis in Educational Leadership. The position is based in Fort Worth (with possible assignment to Waco) and supports the Department of Educational Leadership & Technology in teaching, research, and service.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in educational leadership and related technology topics.
• Develop and maintain an active research agenda, seeking external funding where appropriate.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students and junior faculty.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university service committees.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program assessment.

Required profile

• Earned doctorate in Educational Leadership, Education, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated potential for scholarly productivity and teaching excellence.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and community engagement.

Required skills
