Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Health Management

About the role

The Department of Health Policy and Management seeks a full‑time tenured or tenure‑track faculty member in Health Management. The appointment begins August 1, 2026 (negotiable) and offers a 9‑month, fully funded contract.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in health management, health administration, and health services research.
• Mentor master’s and doctoral students, including supervising theses and dissertations.
• Develop and maintain an independent research program, publish in peer‑reviewed venues, and secure extramural funding.
• Contribute to departmental service, curriculum development, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
• Participate in faculty governance and community outreach activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or equivalent in Health Management, Health Services Research, Public Health, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and service.
• Evidence of scholarly productivity (publications, conference presentations).
• For associate‑professor level or higher, an established record of independent external funding.
• Commitment to mentoring junior faculty and graduate students.
