About the role
The Department of Management at Mays Business School seeks a full‑time, tenured Associate Professor to join its faculty beginning July 1, 2026. The appointment is a nine‑month academic position focused on management, with a preference for expertise in Strategy and/or Entrepreneurship.
Key responsibilities
- Teach three graduate‑level courses per year (PhD, MBA, executive MBA) and contribute to undergraduate instruction as needed.
- Maintain an active research agenda with publications in top‑quality, “A”‑level journals.
- Mentor and supervise doctoral students, serving on PhD committees.
- Participate in departmental service, including promotion/tenure reviews, recruiting, and professional service to the field.
Required profile
- Strong record of scholarly contributions in management, especially in Strategy or Entrepreneurship.
- Demonstrated excellence in graduate teaching and a commitment to student mentorship.
- Evidence of collegiality and willingness to engage in departmental service.
