Tender Quotation Specialist (Remote)

About the role

ABB is hiring a Tender Quotation Specialist for its Electrification Services division in North America, reporting to the Director, Commercial Proposals. The role adapts and implements a sales support strategy using technical capability for a designated area, focusing on configuration and quotation requirements. It is a remote position.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Business Development Sales Managers, application engineering and field services to provide cost and price for services and equipment, and to deliver timely, professional customer-ready proposals.
• Work with the regional sales team to understand customer needs, develop deal strategies and analyse the competitive landscape and market pricing.
• Manage the full opportunity and proposal screening, development, approval and pricing process, using Salesforce for all active opportunities.
• Balance multiple priorities, manage deadlines and set clear expectations on cycle times and milestones with end customers, sales reps and distributors.
• Understand terms and conditions and their impact on risk and cost, and ensure compliance with government contracting requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of similar industry experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required.
• Existing work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
• Preferred: experience with industrial power delivery and/or power distribution systems, commercial/industrial customers, government-funded projects with prevailing wage requirements, and close interaction with internal and external customers.

What we offer

• Expected annual salary of $98,700 to $157,920, with eligibility for a short-term incentive plan and annual bonus.
