About the role

The Frost School of Music at the University of Miami is seeking Temporary Summer Teachers to support the Frost Summer Experience 2025, a music‑focused summer camp. This part‑time role involves delivering engaging music instruction to participants of all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans and activities as directed by the Program Coordinator.
• Create a supportive, inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and inquiry.
• Enforce university safety protocols to ensure student well‑being.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and coordinators to provide a seamless camp experience.

Required profile

• Passion for teaching music and inspiring students.
• Demonstrated experience teaching at the secondary or collegiate level.
• Ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• State of Florida certification (DCF training) or equivalent.
