About the role
The school seeks a qualified secondary math teacher to join Vacaville High School for the 2026‑27 academic year, starting January 4, 2027. The position is temporary and reports to the principal.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a sound educational program using effective instructional and motivational techniques aligned with the district’s mission and approved curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, caring, student‑centered environment that promotes high academic and ethical standards.
- Perform other duties directly related to the position description as required.
Required profile
- Valid California teaching credential authorizing the appropriate grade level and subject, with English Learner authorization (or an appeasement letter).
- Submission of a current credential copy, resume, and three letters of recommendation.
- Preference given to current Vacaville Unified School District teachers.
